Robert Michael purchased a large crystal of what he thought was Morganite and faceted it into this 20x20mm square cushion-cut gem weighing 24.9 carats. However upon testing the gem, Robert learned that it was lab-grown material. Typically lab-grown gem material contains the same ingredients as the natural gem which makes them difficult to tell apart. Since the stone is faceted very well, Robert decided to offer the gem at a substantially reduced price. He set the gem in a Sterling Silver Pendant.
