Several years back, Robert Michael visited the Four Peaks Mine near Phoenix, Arizona by helicopter.  Once there, he was allowed to extract beautiful Amethyst crystals from the interior walls of the mine.   Robert chose one of the remaining crystals and cut away the surrounding rock until he had a nice piece of clear Amethyst. He cut that piece in two, and then faceted two crystals into these matching 8mm round gems weighing 1.7 carat each.  Robert then set the gems in 14kt White Gold Post Earrings.

Amethyst is the February Birthstone.
