#3024: Colorado Peridot with Diamonds in 14kt White Gold

Robert mined, faceted and set these Peridot

1 in stock

Robert Michael mines for Peridot on his own mining claim located South of Hartsel, Colorado.  He faceted three of those crystals into matching 6mm round gemstones, weighing .5 carats each.  Robert then set these gems, along with 1mm and 2mm VS accent Diamonds, in a 14kt White Gold Pendant and Post Earrings.

The Peridot crystals that Robert unearths at his claim tend to be on the small side, but the color and clarity are fantastic.  Additionally, this location produces gemstones that consistently display a very slight yellow tint mixed in with the green, which gives Peridot such a unique color.  The Arizona Peridot has a stronger yellow presence, and are easily differentiated.  The yellow-green mix is mostly determined by the amount of Iron present in each Peridot crystal.

A very short chain will be included in the gift box with this item, but please be aware that this chain is for display purposes only.  It is used solely to hold the item upright in the box.    It is made of inexpensive basic metal, neither White Gold nor Sterling.   If you would like to include a White Gold or Sterling Silver Chain, please take a peek at the “Other Items” category and make your selection.

Please be aware that the items in our photos are often much larger than actual.  This is done intentionally to give you a closeup view of the items.   The actual size of this piece is about 3/4 inch tall and about a half inch wide.
