Smoky Quartz can be found in many locations in Colorado from Pikes Peak to Lake George and beyond. One Smoky Quartz crystal which Robert Michael mined near Devil’s Head, Colorado was cut into sections. Robert faceted two matching 6 mm round gems weighing .75 carats, and then set each into Sterling Silver Post Earrings.
This set is on display at Castle Rocks & Jewelry, located on the West side of I-25 in the Meadows near the AMC Theaters, and may be purchased directly from them.
