This deep purple Amethyst comes from the Four Peaks Amethyst Mine outside Phoenix, Arizona. Robert Michael mined several crystals while visiting and faceted one into this 8x6mm gem weighing 1.5 carats. He then set the gem in a Sterling Silver Pendant.
