Product Description
Years ago, Robert Michael mined for Black Tourmaline crystals near Evergreen Station, Colorado. He and his digging partner unearthed over 100 crystals including one that we consider museum quality. He faceted one of those crystal into this 21x10mm emerald-shaped gem weighing 14 carats. Robert chose a scissor-cut pattern to show criss cross facets on the top of the gem. It is difficult to see these in the images, however light reflects nicely off all of the facets. Robert then set the gem in a Rhodium-plated Sterling Silver Pendant.
Just as a point of reference, Tourmaline is one of the October Birthstones. However, pink is considered the traditional color.
