Robert Michael acquired a very clear yellow Chrysoberyl crystal from a source in Sri Lanka and cut it into this beautiful 8x6mm oval gem weighing 2.1 carats. Chrysoberyl, with an 8.5 hardness on the Mohs scale, is generally found in small crystal form. At 2.1 carats, this gem is among the larger Chrysoberyl gems and is considered a collectors piece. Robert chose to set the gem, along with ten 2mm White Topaz accent gems, into this 14kt White Gold Pendant.
