Robert Michael mines Peridot crystals on his Claim which is located South of Hartsel, Colorado.  He set three 3mm faceted round Peridot gemstones into this Sterling Silver heart-shaped Pendant which Robert also designed and manufactures.
 
The Peridot crystals that Robert unearths at his claim tend to be on the small side, but the color and clarity are fantastic.  Additionally, this location produces gemstones that consistently display a very slight yellow tint mixed in with the green, which gives Peridot such a unique color.  The Arizona Peridot has a stronger yellow presence, and are easily differentiated.  The yellow-green mix is mostly determined by the amount of Iron present in each Peridot crystal.
 
Please be aware that the items in our photos are often much larger than actual.  This is done intentionally to give you a closeup view of the items.  The actual size of this piece is about 1 inch tall and about an inch wide.
