Years ago, Robert Michael mined Amethyst crystals near the Amethyst Queen Mine located near Grand Junction, CO.  He cut one of those crystals into a 10x8mm oval Cabochon gem and set in in a Sterling Silver ring, along with two 2mm White Topaz accent gems.  Colorado gemstones at a great price.
