Robert Michael acquired several pieces of Lapis Lazuli from the once-famed Blue Wrinkle Mine near Crested Butte, Colorado.  He cut several into various size Cabochons including this 18x13mm Cabochon which we set in a Sterling Silver Pendant.  The lapis from this location is distinctly different than the Afghanistan Lapis which contains significantly more Pyrite (Fools Gold) and other dark particles.
