Robert Michael mined for Peridot on his own mining claim located South of Hartsel, Colorado.  He faceted one of those crystals into 8x6mm oval shaped gemstone weighing 1.2 carats.  Robert then set the gems in this Sterling Silver Pendant.
 
The Peridot crystals that Robert unearths at his claim tend to be on the small side, but they consistently display a bright greenish yellow tint, which gives this Peridot such a unique color. The green-yellow mix is mostly determined by a trace amount of Iron in the Peridot crystal.  This is the largest Peridot gemstone coming from our Mining Claim.
 
Peridot is an August Birthstone.
