Robert mines for Smoky Quartz crystals in many locations. The crystal for this piece was mined a few miles North of Lake George, Colorado in the Tarryall Mountains. Robert faceted it into this 8x6mm oval gemstone weighing 1.2 carats. The coloring is a prized Colorado Root Beer brown. Completely different than all of those gray and black tones. Robert then set the gem in this Sterling Silver Pendant.
