Madagascar produces some beautiful Golden Beryl crystals, and we purchased several.  We faceted one of those crystals into this 8x6mm oval gem weighing 1.2 carats and set it in a Sterling Silver Pendant.  
 
Golden Beryl is not well known but has great company. The Beryl family of gems include Aquamarine (light blue), Bixbite (bright red), Emerald (green), Goshenite (Light yellow to white), Heliodor (yellow), and Morganite (pink).
