Robert was given a handful of natural Garnet crystals that had been collected in Helena, Montana by the grandfather of a long-term family friend. Robert has faceted many of these gems over time including this 8x8mm heart-shaped gem, weighing just over 2 carats.  Robert set the gem in one of his own designs, a medium weight, 44x28mm, Sterling Silver Pendant.
