Robert was given a handful of natural Pyrope Garnet crystals that had been collected in Helena, Montana by the grandfather of a long-time family friend. Robert has faceted many of these crystals over time including this 8x8mm heart-shaped gemstone, weighing just over 2 carats.  Robert set the gem in one of his own designs, a medium weight, 44x28mm, Sterling Silver Pendant.  That's about an 1 3/4' high and about 1' wide.  A beautiful and bold statement piece!
