Colorado Rhodochrosite is rare and finding a great crystal specimen may be challenging, especially if you’re searching for the deep red translucent variety. However, this color and clarity of this Rhodochrosite can only be found at the Sweet Home Mine.  
 
Many years ago, Robert collected Rhodochrosite crystals in the tailings of the Sweet Home.  We placed several smaller crystals AS IS in this Sterling Silver Window Locket.  We included a few other minerals that grow along with the Rhodo such as purple Fluorite, golden Pyrite, clear Quartz spikes.  Quite an interesting and colorful piece.
