On one of our many mining trips in Colorado, we discovered a few small Quartz crystals containing Rutile.  Rutilated Quartz is a transparent quartz containing needle-like inclusions of titanium dioxide (rutile), commonly in golden, silver, or copper colors. Often called "Venus hair" or "Cupid's darts," it is prized for jewelry and used for amplifying energy, providing mental clarity, and spiritual growth.
 
Robert faceted one of those crystals into this 7x5mm rectangle shaped gemstone and set it in a Sterling Silver Pendant.  A very interesting and unique piece.
