Robert mines for Smoky Quartz in many locations near Pikes Peak and Lake George.  He unearthed a classic Colorado root beer colored Smoky Quartz crystal and faceted it into this 18x13mm rectangular-shaped gemstone weighing 15.1 carats.  Robert then set the gem in a Sterling Silver Pendant.
