Robert Michael mines for Smoky Quartz in many locations near Pikes Peak and Lake George, Colorado.  He unearthed a very dark Smoky Quartz crystal and faceted it into this 18x13mm rectangle-shaped gem weighing 15.1 carats.  Robert then set the gem in a Sterling Silver Pendant.
