The crystal for this dark, pear-shaped Green Tourmaline gemstone was mined in Maine decades ago.  Robert recently purchased it from a collector for use in his jewelry.  It was classified as "old stock" given its age.  The stone is a 7x5mm oval Cabochon-type gem and is set in a Size 6 1/2 Sterling Silver Ring, along with two 2.5mm round White Topaz accents gems.
 
Tourmaline is an October Birthstone.
