Robert purchased several Brazilian Citrine crystals of various shades and faceted many of them over time.  He chose specific crystals to make three pairs of gemstones that match size, shape, cut, and color.  He then decided to handcraft this solid Sterling Silver crescent necklace and add the six Citrine gems along with White Topaz accent gems.  
 
The pairs include:
Two 8x6 oval gems weighing 1.5 carats each
Two 10x8mm oval gems weighing 3 carats each
Two 12x10mm oval gems weighing 5 carats each
 
The finishing touch was the addition of a 15x12mm pear shaped darker Citrine gemstone as a dangling center piece, which weighs 5.5 carats.  Total Citrine carat weight is 24.5.  The Sterling Silver chain is cut to 18". 
 
This cascade of color is simply gorgeous, and a spectacular representation of what Mother Nature provides.
