Robert acquired a large quantity of Amethyst crystals from a mining operation near Grand Junction, Colorado.  He cut one very light crystal into a 14x10mm checkerboard rectangular shaped gemstone weighing over 6 carats.  Due to the light shade we can easily call this a Pink Amethyst or a Rose de France Amethyst.  We set the gem, along with 18 round White Topaz accent gems in this Sterling Silver Pendant.
