Robert acquired many Amethyst crystals from the owner of the Humming Bird Mine here in Colorado. The color of this amethyst can range from light to dark and sometimes light to dark within a single gemstone. As such, each of these gems are different and very beautiful. Robert faceted this 10x7mm oval gemstone which weighs 1.8 carats, and set it in a Size 7 Sterling Silver Ring.
