Robert acquired a large quantity of Amethyst crystals from a private mining operation located near Grand Junction, Colorado. He faceted two of those crystals into matching 5.5mm round gemstones.  The cut is a Standard Round Brilliant, or Diamond Cut.  The total carat weight is 1.25.  Robert set the gems in this Size 6 Sterling Silver Ring.
