We acquired a large quantity of Amethyst crystals from a private mining operation located South of Grand Junction, Colorado.  We've faceted many of these crystals over time including this 9x7mm oval gemstone, weighing 1.7 carats. We set it in this a Size 7 Sterling Silver Ring.
