The Aquamarine crystal used in this piece was mined Charlie Ramsell, a close mining friend of Roberts.  Charlie worked the Pick & Pack Claim on Mt. White for many years.  He’s also mined on Craig Cardwell’s Claims at the summit of Mt. Antero.  Robert faceted one of Charlie’s Antero Aquamarine crystals into an 8x6mm oval gemstone weighing 1.5 carats.  He then set the gem in a Size 6 1/2 Sterling Silver Ring.
