Years ago, Robert collected Garnet crystals on Ruby Mountain near Buena Vista, Colorado.  After much effort and a great deal of luck, Robert found a few crystals large enough to cut.  He faceted two of those crystals into these matching 4mm round gemstones and set them in 14kt Yellow Gold Post Earrings.  
 
Garnet is the January Birthstone.
