Robert mined for Peridot crystals on his own mining claim located South of Hartsel, Colorado. He faceted two of those crystals into 6x6mm trillion shaped gemstone weighing .8 carats each. Robert then set the gems in these French Hoop Sterling Silver Earrings.
 
The Peridot crystals that Robert unearths at his own claim tend to be on the small side, but they consistently display a crisp, beautiful greenish yellow tint which gives this Peridot such a unique color. The yellow-green mix is mostly determined by a trace amount of Iron in the Peridot crystal.
 
Peridot is an August Birthstone.
