Robert mined for Peridot crystals on his own mining claim located South of Hartsel.  Many of those crystals have been faceted over time including these two matching 7x5mm oval gemstones weighing .9 carats each.  We set them in these Sterling Silver Post Earring.
 
The Peridot crystals that Robert unearths at his own claim tend to be on the small side, but they consistently display a crisp, beautiful greenish yellow tint which gives this Peridot such a unique color. The yellow-green mix is mostly determined by a trace amount of Iron in the Peridot crystal.
