Robert mined for Peridot on his own mining claim located South of Hartsel, Colorado. He faceted two those crystals into these 6x3mm marquise shaped gemstones weighing .3 carats. Robert then set the gems in Sterling Silver Stud Earrings.
The Peridot crystals that Robert unearths at his own claim tend to be on the small side, but they consistently display a crisp, beautiful greenish yellow tint which gives this Peridot such a unique color. The yellow-green mix is mostly determined by a trace amount of Iron in the Peridot crystal.
