Robert mines for Smoky Quartz in several locations in the Colorado Rockies.  The darker shade crystal used here came from the Crystal Peak area near Lake George. Robert cut a crystal in half and then faceted these two 5mm round gems weighing .5 carats each.  He then set the gems in these Sterling Silver Post Earrings.
