This 41x25mm pear-shaped Cabochon, set in 14kt Yellow Gold-filled Pendant, is a rare piece containing a cluster of Fossilized Centipedes, a member of the Arthropod phylum.  Based on our research, we estimate that the specimen dates back more than 300 million years ago. The source or original mining site is unknown.
