Robert Michael acquired several pieces of Lapis Lazuli mined at the once-famed Blue Wrinkle Mine near Crested Butte, Colorado. He cut several into various size Cabochons including this 32x20mm pear-shaped gem and set it in a Sterling Silver Pendant. This Lapis is distinctly different than the Afghanistan Lapis which contains significantly more Pyrite (Fools Gold) and other dark particles.
