Robert collected several large pieces of Turritella Agate along the Snake River in NW Colorado.  This fossilized material was deposited some 50 million years ago during the Eocene epoch in what is called the Green River Formation, known for abundant plant and animal fossils.  Turritella refers to a type of spiral-shaped fresh water snail, however the correct name is Elimia tenera, or Elimia Agate.

Robert sliced one large piece like a loaf of bread and proceeded to cut smaller sections of that slice into various smaller shapes of Cabochons, including this 30x20mm oval Cabochon gemstone.  We then set it in a Sterling Silver Cinch Pendant.

For this Pendant, we recommend a 20” or 24” Medium Reverse Rope Sterling Silver Chain, #1116.

We'll be shipping this item along with an attractive Gift Box, matching tote bag, and crinkled paper. You'll be ready to present this gift in only a few minutes. All buttoned up, pretty, and sophisticated.
